Matt Dunscomb, Katie Dunscomb, and Kyle Christensen founded Adiona Transportation Solutions in 2020. They have over 40 years combined experience in the electrical contracting business.
We desire to take an approach on running a business that focuses on employees and their development, with the belief that this investment will help Adiona become a leader in the roadway electrical construction industry.
Katie has 12 years’ experience in the electrical industry as a mechanical engineer and operations analyst. She graduated from Georgia Tech and worked around nuclear power plants for 6 years. Then, she earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and put that to use teaching high school math. Most recently, she has worked as an Operations Analyst in the electrical industry, leading the development, implementation, and execution of many field-based employee training programs. She has also worked with many project teams to diagnose and resolve issues by leading the teams’ professional development.
Katie and Matt live in Erie, Colorado with their two children, dogs, and cats. They enjoy spending time outside hiking and camping, watching football, and visiting with friends.
Kyle has 14 years' experience in the electrical industry. He began in the industry as an electrician apprentice and worked his way up to a project management position. Kyle has overseen a large variety of transportation electrical projects and holds an electrical master’s license in Colorado. With the many roles that Kyle has served in, he’s been responsible for planning and executing projects, development of employees and building relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractors.
Kyle lives in Castle Rock, Colorado with his family.
Matt has 17 years’ experience in the electrical industry. He is a United States Army veteran and worked as a Senior Project Manager on the PPSL and US-36 projects in Colorado. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management. Most recently, he earned his Master’s degree from CSU in Organizational Leadership.
Matt began as a project engineer and worked his way up to Operations Manager, where he held responsibility for over 80 projects at a time with over 100 employees. Matt directly oversaw multiple projects and, as an Operations Manager, helped develop and refine business processes, oversaw the development of employees under his direction and was responsible for developing annual budgets for the transportation department, maintaining project financials and projections.
Matt served 6 years in the Colorado National Guard as a network technician. He headed to Georgia for some training and met Katie there. He enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and exploring the beauty of Colorado with Katie and the rest of the family.
